VMWorld 2014: performance without limits

Dion Harris –

As VMWorld 2014 closes, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a great few days we have had!

Thank you to all of the partners, customers and new acquaintances that we had an opportunity to see and meet.  VMWorld allowed the Virtual Instruments team to showcase the power of the Virtual Wisdom4 platform and how we also achieve performance with “no limits” for all of our customers.

speaking sessions packed_8-26

We had so many great experiences from the event.  Some highlights straight from the Expo floor:

  • Demo stations at our booth allowed attendees to experience a glimpse into VirtualWisdom4’s new intuitive user interface.  Attendees from all different types of companies were wowed by VirtualWisdom4’s extraordinary breath and depth of data sources and also the types of problems that it solves for our partners/customers.  Additionally, by participating in a demo, attendees were able to see firsthand how VirtualWisdom4 reclaims zombie VMs, identifies and remediate performance problems and optimizes their infrastructure investments.
  • Speaker sessions were held everyday – many of which were standing room only! – that provided more information about Virtual Instruments and how the team is working towards a world where applications and infrastructure performs better together.

It wasn’t all work and no play though!

A surprise flash mob made up of several dancers walked through the busy crowds on the street to come together to perform a well-choreographed/synchronized dance.  This further illustrated how Virtual Instruments is working to “Unleash Performance Without Limits” — Watch Video >>

And what would VMWorld be without a rockin’ party?  Situated high above downtown San Francisco with an amazing view, the Virtual Instruments team hosted a party to give our customers, partners and prospects to escape the showroom floor to RockwithVI!  We also had guest analysts from Forrester in attendance to provide a brief presentation on the importance of Infrastructure Performance Management.

Overall, VMWorld 2014 was a huge success and we are looking forward to making an even bigger splash next year!
