Working for one of America’s most promising companies

Melissa Martin

What a great way to start work at a new company! Last
Friday was my first day as a Virtual Instruments employee and today Forbes
ranked VI third on its annual list of America’s Most
Promising Companies – a list of 100 privately held, high-growth companies
with bright futures.

I joined VI because I thought it was a great company with
strong leaders and a cool culture. The 200 plus people who work at VI love
their jobs. There is such a great spirit of teamwork across the company –
people are always willing to lend a hand on a project and it’s clear that everyone
wants to make VI successful. People have fun here too – from Super Bowl parties
to weekly company lunches or breakfasts and monthly birthday celebrations (with
yummy cake!). The people are smart, the technology is cool and I love being
part of the team.

We certainly know what a great company Virtual
Instruments is. It’s exciting to see that Forbes recognizes the promise of our
company too!
