Hot on the heels of our recent strategic partnership announcements with Cisco and Gigamon, we’re especially excited to be returning to this year’s Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations Management & Data Center Summit – and we wanted to share details on what this year’s attendees can expect to see from us at the show, taking place at The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from December 4-7. Come see us at booth #250.
This will be our eighth consecutive year at the highly influential Gartner event, which aims to help attendees optimize technology, culture and leadership to make better decisions, prioritize initiatives and link infrastructure and operations strategies to the goals of their business. Over the course of our seven years at the conference, it’s been amazing to witness the steps organizations are taking to apply app-centric IPM across their data centers and infrastructures, so they can reach their key business objectives – such as digital transformation. Along the way, we’ve been honored to help educate attendees on the benefits of app-centric IPM and demonstrate first-hand how it works in practice.
Of the conference agenda’s eight primary tracks, app-centric IPM plays a pivotal role in enabling six of them: Cloud Strategies; Multi-Source, Multi-Location; Reinvigorating the Core; Infrastructure Agility; IT Operations and DevOps; and Cost Optimization. And many of those topics will be integral themes in a presentation from one of our key customers, MetLife, on IPM best practices, which will take place from 11:15 – 11:45 a.m. PT on Wednesday, December 6th.
The session, “MetLife Best Practices: Infrastructure Performance Management, Services Assurance, IT Agility,” will be led by MetLife’s Director of Storage Capacity Planning & Engineering, Shane Klosowski, and facilitated by our CTO, John Gentry. During the presentation, Shane will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the tools, platforms, and strategies that enable her teams to collaboratively and proactively manage and assure performance with confidence and precision. We’re biased, of course, but we think this session will be incredibly valuable for any attendees looking to implement IPM solutions across their organizations.
At this point we’d like to thank MetLife, T-Mobile, Gigamon and Cisco for being true change agents, and we also want to thank our entire ecosystem of customers and partners for helping shape and advance our vision for app-centric IPM. And if you’d like to learn more about our vision and see our app-centric IPM solutions in action, please visit our booth on the exhibition floor.
Hopefully you’re as excited as we are for the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations Management & Data Center Summit, and if you’d like to learn more about anything we’ve discussed here, drop us a line or let’s connect on Twitter – we’re @Virtual_Inst.
