Virtual Instruments Wins Storage Magazine’s Storage Monitoring & Reporting Vendor of the Year Award

By Len Rosenthal, CMO

We’re extremely excited to share that Virtual Instruments has won the 2017 Storage Awards’ Storage Monitoring & Reporting Vendor of the Year award. Presented by the U.K.’s Storage Magazine and dubbed ‘The Storries’ XIV, the awards recognize vendors, teams and individuals advancing innovation in all areas of the storage industry, including virtualization, hybrid storage, the channel, and of course, monitoring and reporting.

Our CEO, Philippe Vincent, was on hand at The Storries’ gala awards ceremony at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London last week – and it proved to be a hugely enjoyable evening that doubled as a “who’s who” gathering of storage leaders across the globe. Other winners included Zerto (Ransomware Protection Company of the Year), Oracle (Storage Company of the Year) and Barracuda (Editor’s Choice – Vendor), and you can find the complete list of winners here.

Virtual Instruments offers enterprises a complete end-to-end view of performance across their entire IT infrastructure – including the virtualization layer, servers, networks, and storage – all in an application-centric context.

On the storage front, our Load DynamiX Enterprise storage performance analytics solution is comprised of a software application, Load DynamiX Enterprise, and appliances for extreme workload generation. It’s an integrated solution for workload acquisition, workload analysis, workload modeling and workload performance analytics – and complements our VirtualWisdom infrastructure performance monitoring solution (part of the impetus for the Storage Awards recognition). The solution is used to validate storage infrastructure performance and understand how changes in application workload behavior affect storage performance.
